Access to fresh food should not depend on income or postal code. Upward Farms exists to support food justice in Nova Scotia by growing high quality produce that feeds school lunch programs, strengthens community kitchens, and
keeps food production rooted locally.

Upward Farms is building a more connected local food system in Nova Scotia through hyper-local farming, community partnerships, and food grown with real purpose.

Make Food Food Again exists to tell that story outside the walls of the kitchen and the farm. Through limited apparel drops, the project carries the same message behind everything we do.

PROGRAMS

Micros in hand

MICRO GREENS

Grown year-round to provide restaurants, community kitchens, schools, and local organizations with fresh, nutrient-dense ingredients harvested just hours before delivery.

FARM DINNERS

Currently in pilot, our farm dinners are interactive dinners where guests harvest ingredients directly from the garden  beds before sitting down  to a meal prepared by guest chefs and local  culinary leaders.
